Not Recommended. People who buy executive cars want a prestige badge (BMW, Mercedes etc) not one associated with £10K hatchbacks. Pointless.

Why did Peugeot bother? Even if it were a great design, it would struggle against pedigree models such as the BMW 5 Series. As it is, the 607 is mediocre. Designed on the cheap (even Peugeot knew it would sell very few, so didn't want to spend too much) its only redeeming feature is a quiet, relaxed ride. Dull to look at, dull to drive, it is not even particularly comfortable and build quality is so-so compared with that of a BMW. Its main reason for existence seems to be to provide a big car in which Peugeot directors can be driven home after work.
Positieve punten
- Great value as a used executive choice
- Smooth ride, roomy cabin, low noise levels
- Lots of equipment in a quality cabin
|
Negatieve punten
- Unfamiliar with very little image
- Very steep depreciation from new
- Future resale could be a serious problem
